Using gluing tape instead of glue on carbon wheels ??

Depends on what you're going to use the wheels for. If it's for TTing then tape is fine as you rarely corner hard enough. If it's for road racing then glue is safer, especially for hard cornering crits. Having said that I have raced crits on taped tubs with no problem(but I'm very slow!)Norfolk, who nicked all the hills?

Always used tub tape with my carbon wheels for 6 years - never had a problem - the higher tyre pressures means that they stay put pretty well. Recently had a problem with rolling a CX tub in a race - lower tyre pressures and bigger tyres means they experience a lot more pressure than a road tyre.Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..0
