Having recently purchased some Look Keo pedals I'm interested to know how long the cleats last roughly as they're already starting to look a bit battered.

Depends on how much walking around you do in them..
Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..
  • Look cleats ? About a 100metres of outdoors walking seems enough to cream cracker them. Ker-ching!!

Always use those cleat covers that all the usual suspects sell; even when just, for example, changing a punctured tube.

  • Keo cleats are rubbish. Look seem to have forgotten that cyclists have to get to or from their bikes....

You can get cleat covers if you're worried about walking on them.

Never had a problem with Look/Keo cleats, a cleat broke when i fell off once but thats about it and i've used them for years.
Maybe some folk go jogging or tap dancing in their cycling shoes, that'd shaft the cleats!
  • I'm no sooner in my bib-shorts than i just can't help but start a-jiggin' about....
