My Bicycle and I

Hello
I thought I would use this platform to announce the launch of my new blog: http://www.My-Bicycle-and-I.com
By way of introduction I am a magazine writer and sometime photographer who loves bicycles and cycling. Unfortunately I seldom have the opportunity to write about either of those things in the magazines I usually work for and so I decided to put together this eclectic (and growing daily!) collection of stories, essays, musings and columns; sort of a magazine-style blog.
I hope you'll find some things in it you like.

Hi Hoopdriver,
I don't usually reply to anything mentioning 'personal cycling blog', but this is definitely worth making an exception for! Really enjoyed your articles, lovely photography and your passion for both cycling and writing certainly comes across. Keep up the good work, looking forward to more!
Thanks, EarlyGo0 -

Superb writing Hoop, well done you!
- and thanks too, liked your 'sickie' day ride story in particular.Common sense in an uncommon degree is what the world calls wisdom0 -
Started looking at it but fraid you put me off when I saw that you like 4:30 starts! Mad fool Problem is I'm jealous of the fact that you can and do do it, just wish I had the dedication to do so and to stay awake at the end of the day.
Will look at it again once I've got over the shock of the early start0 -
I know 4:30 is a bit odd, but it is realistically the only time of day I can fit in a decent ride with everything else I've got going.
I hope you'll look in again - cheers0 -
Nice article on the merits of 9/10/11/n+1 cassettes and chains. Ideal wet and windy Sunday reading!

What's happened to this website? I don't seem to be able to access it - discovered it the other day and now it won't load up any more. Shame cos I've enjoyed the articles that I've read so far!0

I can't access it either, have you taken it down ?Science adjusts it’s beliefs based on what’s observed.
