We don't need another uphill sprint in the spring classics. Needs to be short enough to make attacks on the last climb tempting but long enough to ensure you have to be very stong to make them stick.0

but the section from the very short (but painful) climb from the Paterberg back to Oudenaarde (via Avelgem) is very flat....
Of course the old course had a signiificantly downhill route from the Bosberg to the old finish line which certainly assisted breakaways.0
