  • Watching rugby, waiting for missus to get home from nights then off to a new trail centre that has opened in Fermanagh. Looks like it'll be a bit damp and windy.

Couldn't sleep as had work going round my head, so sent a few emails and then studied for a few hours. As laptop battery now died, thought I deserved a break and am now watching the rugby with the kids.

Today there is a lot of important things to do, watch the rugby and f1. :)

  • Just woke up, feeling super lazy as is usual for morning. Will make some tasty bratwurstels in a while, then go out on the roadie for a family ride. After that probably copious amounts of beverages will be consumed.

Hope everyone has a super duper fantabulous day!

I'm going to head out to pay for the repair on my car. Hope to God that it isn't expensive, I have no money :(

The rest of the day will be spent doin stuff for a play I'm in. I never wanted to be in it, and I've been to about 4 rehearsals. Meh. It'll be over soon enough. Then I can worry about work and other stuff :?

Awoke early, packed the car and headed Cannockswards.

Bought some flat pedals and 5.10s, fitted them and toddled off.

3 laps of Pooch Persuing and I'm quite impressed, but f**k me, was I getting a lot of pedal-strikes! Hadn't realised just how close to the deck the spuds must'a been runnin'. Still, counts as a success in my book. Will continue testing at another time.

Now back home (via a roast veg and brie 29er roll at Birches), with a pint of tea and the qualifying about to run on ayeplayer.

Got an early-ish start in at Bedgebury today and the rain held off until after we finished, so that's a win :) Then got a big coffee in down at Costas when I got back into town. Now having a massive spaghetti bolognese cooked for me as I'm starving, though I'm having to hide upstairs while the wimmin in the house have 'Strictly' on the box....must take control of the remote by time MOTD comes on!
