Vuelta route map " Green Route " what is it ?
Sorry but I cannot work this out.
On the Vuelta stage route maps this year they have a red route , which is the race route. Butt hey also show a second green route .
It seems to be a fast " car " route to the finish , but why is it marked and what purpose does it serve ?
Does anyone know ?

It'll be for the supporting team vehicles to get to the finish quickly.0

I think just a bit of laziness from the website/map people who put it together and they've used a one map fits all. Most other races remove the green/team vehicle route one from their public website.
Although it could be useful for spectators (what spectators?) if they want to see the race in two places0 -
