I came off my bike yesterday and broke the little caps off the top of my 9 speed Shimano 105 triple brake hoods. Where can I buy these ? Thanks

try sjs, might be these you are after...

otherwise, best bet might be to see if the lbs has some in it's old parts box, they often keep broken stuff as source of odd spares

final resort, find the exact model of shifter...

    http://techdocs.shimano.com/

then see if the bits you are after have a part number (use the EV-ST-* documents), you *might* be able to get some ordered, or even find stock online

Go to LBS and order them. They can be ordered (Madison) as a mate of mine just ordered some... About £25...

That only works if you have current shifters on your bike. I broke the caps on my 4500 Tiagra shifters back in April and still haven't found replacements :(
I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.

Is it the "name plates" that say 105 on them? In which case they are £8.99 each for tiny bits of plastic... Look on the side of the lever under the rubber hoods. There should be a number like 5500 or 5600. This is what you need to order them at your lbs. Madison will stick them in a jiffy bag post free,, so no waiting for a big order to be made up.

Many thanks they are 5510 and part No Y-6GT 98050 :-) they are also very expensive for what they are, but they took the hit and my bike will be like new again.
