I'm with iainf72 on this. I think today is a big day and will pretty much funnel it down. Although as they say it is never over until the fat lady sings.Trek Madone 5.9

Yep, serious finish climb today and that penultimate climb today is steep too, could have some attacks from further out than just the last climb.
It's a nicely balanced Vuelta route this - lots of spectacular finish climbs early on, steep or long, but keeping the ones that are both steep and long for the end.0 -
Has it started? Any live tickers?
EDIT. Found one.0 -
I think Kloden has also gone home..0
-
Break of 17 riders, over 3 mins up. VERY early on.0
-
Hmmm - just read that Barredo lives and trains here... expect to see him up the road0
-
Sky can probably afford to do nothing here and let all the other teams with top 10 riders push on. Doubt that will happen tho___________________

Two Katushas in the break and more Katushas driving the peloton... J Rod to try on the penultimate climb?0

Been watching German Eurosport, live since 2pm.
Interestingly Brit Eurosport are now repeating a Motor GP
sit down interview, that they showed an hour ago.
What a larf.
They go AWOL for Iain's start and finish days of the race.
Well done ITV 4, I say.
As I speak, "Mosquito" Moreno goes up the road."Science is a tool for cheaters". An anonymous French PE teacher.0 -

Bruseghin back in his old mountain domestique role.
Clearly, money has exchanged hands."Science is a tool for cheaters". An anonymous French PE teacher.0 -
Bruseghin always interested me with his ability to climb, as he's not the typical 'mountain goat'. IIRC he was National TT champion a few years ago. We'll see what happens in a couple of kms when the real climb starts.0

What is the story with Lofqvist? He was dissappointing at the Giro and hasn't shown barely at all here. Wouldn't he have been nominal team leader if Wiggins hadn't broken his shoulder at the tour?http://www.georgesfoundation.org

To be fair to Bruseghin, he has a chance of a top 10 place himself too.0
-
Last 5km, this is the steep bit, pretty much 9% all the way0
-
Oh to be able to ride on surfaces that good around here!0
-
Wow, Cobo flies past Moreno and Txuruka0

J-Rod being dropped by the Wiggins group..... and Nibali... and Kessiakofff!0
