Bouncy Langster Single Speed <bouncy bouncy bouncy>

Hello,
Been thinking recently how annoying it is when getting my 2007 Langster single speed up to top speed (40kph-ish for me) how bouncy the ride gets. The bounce seems to come from my posterior, so I'm guessing that its the saddle/seat post? Alternatively, it could be my cadence is too high?
Any ideas? The bike is below.

Saddle - Specialized Comp Road, full padding
Seat post - Specialized carbon fiber
Option A
Get a new, stiff and unpadded road seat. Any ideas?
Option B
Get a new, stiff and unpadded road seat and a new seat post. Any ideas? Are the Ritchey ones in the Planet X sale any good?
Option C
Sod the above, and get a bigger chain ring, as the bounce would be eliminated with a lower cadence.
Any comments and suggestions gratefully received!

Probably technique as opposed to anything with the saddle. Learn to spin faster basically, but you'll probably always get a bit bouncy when you're nearing your limit.
What gear are you running? Either you're rubbish at spinning or you've got a very low gear to be spinning out at only 40km/h. I can manage about 55km/h on a 42-16 (about 170rpm). Easier to spin on fixed mind....More problems but still living....0 -
My guess is that your body mechanics can't handle the cadence and it has little to do with type of seat/post.
So either switch to a higher gearing. I'm guessing you're probably under geared though and might want to switch to something more suited to your regular riding routes. What gear ratio are you running? If you have a lot of hills you might just have to live with this on a singlespeed.
Or do some cadence work and get correctly up speed.
Or it could be your saddle is poorly positioned so your mechanics are thrown off. Try adjusting your seat height/position based on a good fit guide (plenty online). At a random guess, most likely your saddle is a wee bit too high.0 -
