The spoiler threads are about as barren as the roadside.
There was a little bit of action: Hansen attacked his breakaway companions and amassed a lead of about 7 seconds, but then they caught him and he's about 7 seconds back instead now.
I wrote half of this post without even looking at the race I'm afraid.0 -
Beautiful part of Spain this. Narrow winding roads, undulating green terrain; nothing like the straight dual carriagway through the desert you sometimees get in the Vuelta. For the rest as interesting or boring as a flat sprinters stage in the Tour de France.
Finish is uphill again, not as steep as the stage Sutton won, but longer uphill0 -
There is a slight bump at the end which might make sprint interesting.0

Sagan, Degenkolb, Benna... Didn't see much of Kittel?0

nice sprint by sagan0

Sagan, Degenkolb, Bennati
Nice but predictable uphill sprint0 -
Some gaps there - time gaps for GC favorites?0

No, he has a different 'balls out' problem to deal with!0

Sagan very strong again....as others have said, splits through the field-I couldn't pick out where Wiggo was? There's will almost certainly be a small group 3 seconds down-possibly a few others too.0

Preliminary finish suggests Mollema and Kessiakoff win a couple of seconds on other favorites0

History suggests these may be closed up, but I guess you can never be sure. Mollema is as active as a jack-in-the-box, getting thsoe sprint seconds earlier today too.
Gotta keep right at the front, Wiggo - watch some TDF videos showing how Cadel did it...My cycle racing blog: http://cyclingapprentice.wordpress.com/

It's still early but if Wiggins holds on and wins, wow those Belgians are amazing at creating top cyclists!0
