Shimano slx especially ....
Obvious shifters, cassette and chain smaller, but do you need a specific 10 speed chain set?

You don't need one, but it works slightly better if you have one with a 10 speed front mech and chain.0

they are different. in that the pick up pins etc are differently spaced. but as above."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

Can you get a 10 speed double and bash then? Can't seem to find one on line0

nope but you can get triple in 10spd and 9spd double and bash."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

I'm using 9 spd chainrings with 10 spd cassette and chain, with no problems.
CRC have 9 spd SLX Double and bash for £80 I think, PM me I have a code for £10 off if you spend over £750
