I currently own a Ford Focus CMAX and can easily throw my bike in with the rear seats down.

However, my wife now has a bike and my son if confident on his now.

So with the seats down there's nowhere for my son to fit.

On our other car Ford Focus we had Frappa roof bars fitted and was looking at the

Previously I had this rear mounting carrier but it is time consuming

Any other suggestions for transporting the 3 bikes and 3 passengers including my son's car seat. He is ^

Thanks

Tow bar and a Thule tow bar mounted rack.

Agree with Nick, though this can be very expensive...if your going down the bars route Thule bars and Thule Pro Ride 591 carriers (Ford Direct were doing the carriers for £95 pair) I have them and they are great. Mont Blanc Barracuda are also woth a look and around £80 pair but can only take a max 2.2 tyre.

I also have the Thule Pro ride 591 for the car that can not take a tow bar.

A milk crate..... as Nick has stated the clamping knob is at roof level so is easy to wind onto frame and lock. My missus is tiny and she can manage on my 5 series

Decathlon do a 3 bike towball mounted rack for under £70. It's very good.

I like the idea of the tow bar and we've already got the electrics and reg plate but...

My bike has an unusual top bar shape, will it fit ?

I have a Maxxraxx, mounts off a towbar, single hanging rail for the top tube and takes 4 bikes.
