Elbow and Muse on the main stage........ oh yeah !!!!
Unfortunately, I will have to tolerate the great unwashed for a few hours, but I'll be brave !!

My brother is Elbow's live sound engineer. He also did the live sound work for The Doves.
Hmm, how many bands are there names after body parts? Knee, Elbow. Radio Head?To err is human, but to make a real balls up takes a super computer.0 -

Just heard Reading festival described as 'edgy' on the radio! I was there on a day ticket a few years ago and it was anything but...seemed to be mostly middle-class southerners pretending to rough it. Still a great day out though, I just don't recognise many of the bands in the line-ups anymore..so out of touch.0

You are most likely right on that one. I can't shout too much...I am a soft southerner who doesn't fancy camping after all but at least I know it. It just felt more noticable at Reading though, think I had the words of a friend in my mind who was a serious festival go'er and said the problem with Reading is from some parts of the site you can see tower blocks, pylons and corporate offices which kind of ruined the festival 'feel' for her.0 -
