As title really - what type of front derailleur for the Ribble Gran Fondo frame? Band-on (size?) or braze-on?
I tried calling RIbble today but couldn't get through. Want to place a parts order tonight - frame and fork being picked up from delivery depot this weekend.
Google doesn't throw up any definitive answers.
Any current owners out there can help out?
Thanks...

Ribble themselves, at least for the Campag fitted bikes like mine, use a braze on mech with an adaptor. So, in otherwords, you might as well use a band-on (though the braze on does allow a neat chaincatcher installation).

    I'll just measure the tube!

    Edit - 35mm diameter :)

    Hi,
I don't have this bike, but if you have pictures of the frame you can easily tell, brake on will already have a attachment on the seatpost for the deraileur (looks like a plate inserted into the seat tube), if the tube is smooth (ie: no attachments, apart from maybe the bottle cage bolts), then it is a band on
