Trek Madone 4.7 Frameset

HI all,
A friend and work colleague of mine has expressed an interest in my second bike, which is a 2009 Trek Madone 4.7 ( black and white frame). He only wants the frame, which I dont mind because I have uses for the other bits, but am struggling to come up with a fair price to both him and me for the frameset.
I have had a trawl around the web and cannot find any examples to compare it with. The whole kit cost £2,000 new but pricing out the frame alone is causing me a bit of a headache. Its in cracking nick and I wouldnt mind keeping it, but cant really justify it as a second bike, let alone a winter hack which is what I really need.
I am not looking for anyone to price this for me, because I would not sell this unless he had asked me, but rather some views to help see if a deal can be reached. Views appreciated.

How about working out a price for the groupset / wheels / other finishing kit if bought new.
Deduct that from the £2000 original price.
That leaves the value of the frame when new.
Now if he is a good friend let him have it for 1/2 that price.
If you don't really like him that much then 2/3He is not the messiah, he is a very naughty boy !!0
