Seen a few riders around with black jerseys with sponsors including shred and the national trust with green writing on .just wondered who manufactures these tops and where i could buy them from ..Thanks very much...Rhurbarb :P

Really? What about if the asphalt is covered in snow? Or it hasn't rained for a while and is covered in that earth coloured dust. Or if there are puddles reflecting the lights from local shops.

One of my jerseys is black (GORE) and I'm still here.
Infact its the one I wear in the darker colder months as its the one with the best reflective bits on out of the ones I own. I've had it for 3 years now.2019 Ribble CGR SL

Reflective markings on black clothing are useful if you like get mashed up into a number of pieces; means they can find all the bits.0
