Couple of small things:-
1)
would it be possible to include the message of the reply to your post in the email. At least that way you can know if someone has replied directly (and warrants a response) or just someone else, so doesn't require such immediate attention.
2)
an option to 'opt in' to keep receiving updates each time a message is posted. Sometimes I forget when I am subscribed to threads, so in some cases, it would be worth receiving an email update each time a reply is posted (for instance, my own threads, especially if I lose them!)
or
that when you visit the forum homepage, it resets your email updates. Its annoying to have to revisit the initial thread to get a fresh update, as sometimes they might be buried and pop up again
