Hubbub / Shimergo - 11sp ergos with 9sp Shimano mech
For the last couple of years, all my bikes have been running 10sp Campag throughout except the 9sp Shimano rear mechs / hubs (I hate paying for 10sp chains / cassettes and much prefer Ergos) with the hubbub method.
I wanted 11sp shifters for the new shape hoods...of course I could have got some Centaur 10sp and continued hubbub but as the existing shifters were Record on my Colnago...
Saw some Super Record 11sp Ergos from last year at a bargain price and were told that they work with 9sp setup - I can confirm they shift perfectly.
10sp Record ergos in excellent condition will be on sale soon!

To bring back an oldish thread, has anyone else done this?
I've got lots of nice 9 speed shimano stuff but have had enough of the old shimano cables hanging in the wind look. If campag 11 speed ergo levers work, them problem solved.0 -
I've also done with this another bike - 11sp Chorus with Dura Ace RD7800 - works very nicely as well0
