XC helmets?

Hi guys I have been out of the XC game for quite a while now so I am looking at getting something fairly light and comfortable for long days(8hrs+). I have my eye on the giro rift at merlincycles which is only £36 but are there any other helmets I should be looking at too?

    which ever fits YOUR head best.

    Sorry get down to the shops and see what fits you best then ask which of X Y or Z would be best.

    I have a Met, a Bell and a Giro over the years as they all felt great at the time of trying.
