Compatibility of Shimano Sora

Is a shimano sora chainset compatible with a 10 speed 105 rear derailier and chain as im upgrading my winter hack with spare parts ive acumilated.

    Yes for the derailleur. The chain will be slightly narrower on the outside so may slip between the chainrings and cassette sprockets.

    Aw c'mon !
    It *won't* slip between the chainrings. There is not a gaping chasm between them which the chain will fall into...

    I assume you are changing to 10sp shifters, cassette and chain, just keeping the chainset ?
    It'll be fine.
