Apex brakes with 105

Subject like says it all. Is there any reason why I can't use Sram Apex brake calipers with 105 levers? (5600 105 if that makes any difference).

    No - there may be a minor variation in cable pull / actuation ratios between brands, but nothing that most users would notice. AFAIK Shimano have changed theirs on more recent groupsets.
    Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..
