Is the Rockshox Reverb MMX mount compatible with my setup?

CRC have Reverb seatposts with MMX mount on offer for £200 at the moment but I am not sure if my current setup is compatible.
I have a new steed with Formula RX brakes and 10 speed Sram X9 shifters.
Now I understand that the MMX mount is not compatible with the brakes, but can it be used with the shifters?
CRC states:
"Please Note: This MMX mount seatpost is only compatible with Sram XX brakes, for Avid brakes etc please select the standard mount"
Can the MMX mount not be mounted onto the X9 levers?

You can use the mmx mount as a standard clamp it just won't be able to attach to the shifter and brakes0

I read somewhere that you could... I was just worried as CRC do not supply the bleed kit etc.. and I was not sure if they supplied the standard mount with the MMX. I've never clapped eyes on MMX compatible gear so I have no idea how it all works..
Never mind.. It's on its way to me now. My second one (2nd bike). The missus and non biking mates think I'm mental..0
