Cycle scales

Any recommendations for some good cycle scales please ?

Just checked CRC and they are £50+, they must be joking at that price.

I am guessing that a good quality luggage scales would be just as good ????

Do you want to weigh the whole bike or are you of the weight weenie persuation and wanting to weigh each component?

Either way I'm sure an appropriate digital balance / scales can be had for a lot less than £50.

For the whole bike I'd use bathroom scales (stick a plank on there, zero it, stand bike on plank)
Or as you say, luggage scales
