STI Levers have moved
I have somehow moved my STI lever lower on one side than the other. how do I move it back up the bar to get it level?
I have tried using force but it doesn't want to move. its a problem as one set of shifters is now too far away to reach comfortably. how do I move it back up my drop bar?

take your handlebar tape off and you'll see the clamp. Use something like a broom handle to make sure they're both at the same level and tighten them both up. Then put some nice new shiney handlebar tape on! Job done.0

The lever is secured to the bar by a band, and the lever is fastened to the band by a 5mm allen screw. You need to slacken this off, move your lever, then tighten it up again. The position of the screw varies. I am only familiar with Shimano. To the best of my knowledge there are two possible locations. On some, you will notice a groove in the side of the lever body, which disappears under the rubber hood. This groove leads to the allen screw. Another possible is that you need to peel back the top of the rubber hood, and by squeezing the brake lever a little, you will be able to peek inside, and you will see the allen screw.0

thanks. so the clamp isnt under the rubber hudz?

If it's only moved a small distance, chances are you can slacken the clamp screw off and move the shifter without needing to disturb the bar tape.- - - - - - - - - -

If Force is the same as Red its at the top of the lever under hood - peel back hood, undo bolt, move shifter, do up bolt, slip hood back over.
