Ridgeway Conditions

Hey All.

I'm thinking of doing a couple of days on the ridgeway starting at Streatley and going West. What are the conditions underwheel like? Do you need a nice long dry spell before hand or can you ride it the day after it has rained? Any other advice would be more than welcome from any Ridgeway veterans.
Trek Madone 5.9, Trek Rumblefish 2, Kinesis Racelight T for the rain and a Kawasaki ZX12 R.

    i rode some sections around Swindon and Avebury last Sunday, its dry, hard and fast, no worries!
