Lidl £29 workshop stand

Anyone bought one of these now or the last time Lidl had them on sale? Are they worth it, or should I just resign myself to paying £60-70 somewhere else?

Are they capable of clamping a bike and holding it off the ground ? (the MAIN function of any workshop stand)

    Apparently they are very good, a few people on mtbe have bought them and said they are £30 well spent :)

    Thanks for that feedback - just bought one - not many left (2) at Lidl Fareham branch.

    Will try it out tonight and post a quick review tomorrow.

    I bought one yesterday, very happy with it. I dont think you can go wrong for the money.

    They are pretty $hite but well worth getting, your bikes gonna wobble about like crazy when your working on it but for £30 it beats the hell out of propping it up against a fence, good buy imo.
