summer rubber???

looking for any suggestions for some tyres suitable for really hardpack ground in our local pines. at the mo running a crossmark on front and a hutcinson python on the rear but still not great!!! looking at the race kings....any ideas!!! :?:

    I find Racing Ralphs fast and very grippy

    yeh ive got a set of ralphs but id like sumthin with bit less tread to be honest, wot are the freds like, n not heard of sb8s???

    Kenda Small Block 8s. Fast with tightly-packed tread. Not actually that bad in damp-ish conditions either.

    Furious Freds - imagine a 400g version of your CrossMark with a shallower tread pattern and not much at all in the centre. Fast as but fragile.

    ah i get it now i had them on my old giant....didnt really like the look of them but mite dabble again do u no if they do a ust version??
    the freds sound fast but could do without punctures...

    +1 for small blocks, maxxis ardent is another to consider if you want a bit more grip without too much more drag.
