Would this be a good upgrade?

I have been offered a 2007 pair of Fox float 32 RL for really cheap , I would be using them to replace a pair of 2011 recon solo air turn keys.
Would this sound like an upgrade, I have been looking for a pair of fox forks for a while now
Thanks!

only if they have had their yearly service each year. they are effectively 5 years old.
I would not bother."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

naa awful - i'll give you a tenner for them
:P0 -
Well make sure the steerer is long enough as well0

Steerer should be exactly the right size. My current one is post mount, I would need to change to IS mount. Is that easy?0

How cheap is cheap?0

Not worth it then? 8)0

Would Rebas be a better call for that sort of money?0

Should be able to find some in a sale somewhere?
I could try some haggling, are the fox floats a better fork than my recons. I am looking to change the recons as I don't particularly like them. Too uncontrolled, no clearance between the tyre and fork making it a pain to cycle in mud. But also don't have a whole lot of money to replace them!0 -
but TBH I would look to upgrade the TK to a MoCo cartridge as the least expensive upgrade."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

Yep, depends on the Recon. Recon Moco is better than an old Fox RL.0

What sort of difference would it make? Stiffer?0 -
It would improve the damping, making the fork more controlled on bigger/ repeated hits, making it less likely to pogo on descents.0

That sounds tempting, but the problem of clearance is still there then. There is some Sektors for sale in the classifieds

Would they be suitable? (As you can tell I don't have too much knowledge about forks)0
