I have Campy 10 speed Veloce shifters working 10 speed Centaur deraileur. I am just checking that I can swap to 10 speed Chorus shifters and leave the Centaur deraileur in place.[/img]

    Nothing's compatible with Campy.

Campag on the other hand may be.
Carlsberg don't make cycle clothing, but if they did it would probably still not be as good as Assos

I've just fitted Chorus 10sp shifters, replacing 10sp Centaur shifters. I have kept the Centaur rear derailleur. The difference in shifting is like chalk and cheese, the Chorus shifters are sublime and precise......the previous Centaur shifting had never been precise...

So, yes they are compatible. If you think about it they must be - the rear derailleur just pivots in and out on a spring. The indexing is done in the lever, so if the indexing is the same (10sp) for the cassette fitted, the derailleur doesn't come into it - it is just slaved by the shifter.

    Thank you PP,

Just needed to be sure, also glad to hear that there will be a noticable difference.
