Contador lost 5 seconds on Evans, Andy Schleck lost roughly 1'20" on them both.

Evans the big winner there then... Gaining on Schlecks and a little on Bert!

As good as Evans has looked so far I still get the feeling that he can be broken in the Alps. Will make for an excellent three days. Cadel definitely favourite now.

Evans looks stronger than the Schlecks uphill and down - at least in the rain

the Tour will rest, again, on the quality of supreme Spanish steak.

    Evans, nice work, nice work.

Contador to blow Evans up soon or EVANS FTW.

Before this Tour Garmin had never won and stage and Thor wasn't riding like a WC.

I've lost count of Garmin wins and Thor is making up for a lot.

Evans will be dropped in the Alps though... its up to Cadel to limit his losses there though.

It's interesting to see how Cadel has progressed with age, I thought riders got worse after they were 30!

I think the other favourites would be silly not to try and put AS under pressure on the summit/descent again tomorrow. If he can fire on all cylinders he could still put serious time into Evans and Voeckler in the Alps.

WTF is Cav doing in 43rd?! Impressed as there's no other HTC riders within 3 minutes of him.

From start to finish today was great. Early on I loved getting to see attempted break after attempted break. Then from the minute the GC guys hit the final climb it was wonderfully captivating.

    Well done Thor.

    Well done Cuddles.

and even tho it pains me... well done Bertie for lighting the fuse.

In the Pyrenees, we had the Schlecks,
In the Alps, we have Contador.

That will be the unfortunate difference for courageous Thomas Voeckler.
(Maybe, Cadel too, although he's looking great at the mo)
