So I got my new bike yest, Canyan am,
Under braking the front dives loads. is this common?
Or do they need more air?
(Yes i am new and yes i am dum)
I did not have this with my old bike, but then the forks where 10 years old and had about 40mm of movement on a good day.

If you have the sag set up right you might need to play around with the compression damping. My Canyons Fox F32 forks needed lots of damping to stop them diving think the factory set it on minimum damping. The RP2 shock was the same minimum damping needs a lot of tweaking to get it just right but when you have it spot on it is super plush and hoovers up bumps without wallowing.Fig rolls: proof that god loves cyclists and that she wants us to do another lap0

If your old forks had very little movement you may have had your weight to far forward but didnt realise as your fork wasnt moving. With the newer fork it will move under your weight and give you that sensation of diving.0
