rain jacket

hi all iam looking to buy a rain/ shower jacket but one that will pack down and fit into jersey pocket without being to bulky and breathable anyone any ideas .iam not after breaking the bank but dont mine paying for the jacket thankyou

    If you don't want to spend megabucks then the Montane Velo came out well in a recent group test in Cycling Active.

    £45 from Chain Reaction although you might be able to find it cheaper elsewhere

    You could spend from £30 to £300 - recommendations depend a lot on budget. Just don't expect the £30 one to perform the same as the top-end one - they might keep the rain off but you'll get soaked by the amount of perspiration inside. FWIW they are very few rain jackets that will keep you dry inside and out when riding hard in the rain IME. You pay more for breathable fabrics, tailored cut and taped seams
    Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..
