That's a lovely looking bike but I do think the cable under the crossbar looks a bit naff dangling down.0
-
Cheers Keith, yer I agree, the cabling is poor on the allez, hoping noone would spot it Going to get the steerer changed tomorrow0
-
The cable might be a little less obvious without the donuts on it which serve no purpose since they're nowhere near the frame.More problems but still living....0
-
it would appear that you have a amazing bike :shock:0
-
I agree, reckon ill cut the doughnuts off, thought they stopped noise not frame damage? Anyway cheers guys0

I like this!
I have the same model but in Grey. My first Road bike and for the money (£380 new - great fun)...
Other than wheels what is your best upgrade?
What do you think of the wheels?
How much does it all weigh?
What is your next upgrage? New frame/bike?
All I have changed is the seat (Charge Spoon) and the tyres (Gators).0 -
Hey,
Other than wheels, I reckon seatpost, its a little more comfy, but more importantly it looks great in the flesh
I love the wheels, smooth and roll well, and lighten her up at 1300g
8.1 to 8.2
Next upgrade, yer id save up and get a cervelo s2 I reckon, but yes I love the bike, its fairly light now, pretty stiff and is fun and fast to ride, so for the money ive spent on it, its great!0 -
I would leave the steerer. If you sell the bike at some point it might be to your benefit.

Good point matt, left it for now0
