Hi,
I wondered if anyone had a bearing they'd removed from their UT crank arms they could measure for me please?

Cheers Mat

If you don't get an answer during the day, I'll measure them when I get home - I have a spare set of bearings in my workshop.

I believe them to be 37x25x7 but if you could confirm that would be very helpful

    Just measured one at 37 x 25 x 6 - I think it's the 6mm thickness that makes them non-standard

FWIW standard Hollowtech size is 37 x 25 x 7 or 6805RS but unfortunately is not compatible

Yeah that was the bearing number I was going with, shame as I've some 7 mm wide bearings, I wonder if I can lose that extra 2 mm stack by losing/ turning a specific washer rather than the wavy version currently fitted?

Unfortunately, there isn't enough 'play' in the system to accommodate the extra 2mm - the only way would be to reduce the width of the BB shell 1mm on each side - but there's no going back if you do and you'd have a slight gap between the BB cup and the crank which might look odd
