Duke wheels

I have just come across a pair of wheels in my loft and cant identify the maker. The name on the rim is Duke, apparently made in Italy, half flat spokes and half of them are round, the hubs have a picture of a bull on them and the letter R. Can anyone shed any light on these wheels. The freebub is a bit dodgy and I would like to replace it so I can use the wheels. Any clues??????
