    could be a pretty gruesome sight if he hurt them in a crash, seen some rather nasty bleeds from a tiny nick on a varicose vein :shock:

    Valves higher up must be faulty or larger veins have restricted flow so pressure builds up in the lower smalller veins causing them to bulge.
