29er tyres for the wet

I'm slipping and sliding around on the roots and rocks when it rains. I've become convinced there's something better out there than the 2.1 Continental Vapours I'm using.

I just don't know what it is...

Friends in the UK on 29ers recommended the Panaracer Rampage 29. If any of the Conti 29ers are available with Balck Chili compound they could also be worth looking at.

Kenda Nevegal / SMB8 combo if its really wet, but I mostly stick with SMB8s front and rear

I've run Kenda Small Block 8's on a very muddy Ashton Court with no problems, just lower the pressure a bit and pedal / steer smoothly
