Boone all on his todd, 5 minutes back. Poor bastard, great rider, deserves better.

I don't think we've seen the last of the crashes. The last mile or so today looks ripe for a pile up

In terms of continuing on through hardship, GT riders are absolute nails aren't they?

I can't imagine picking up some of those injuries and getting back up and riding immediately and then every day for the next two and a half weeks afterwards.

If he hadn't signed a new contract yet, I sure they'd be there.

In fairness, it looked like he told them all to get on with it.

it looks like boonen cant hold the bars with his right hand properly. Cavs voodoo doll must be working then.

Boonen zero luck although it may help him save face as he wasnt looking strong

He looked pretty good at the sprint point

He looked like he was back on the Columbian marching powder at the sprint. Be interesting to see if this one stands, if it does then Cav and Hushovd have every reason to feel agrieved.

Breakaway being caught with 46 km to go... this is going to cause more nervousness.

A drop of rain might liven up the action a bit :D:D:D

Wasn't there a French rider a few years ago in Boonen's situation, who missed the time cut but was allowed to continue? Maybe Lequatre?

I like him speaking French, but that was a poor 'Cap Frehel'

Random fact, but there seems to be lots of biscuit shops around here!

I don't think they'll exclude Tommeke if he's a minute or two outside the cut after this effort

Bit of cross country on that attack, thought the riders were supposed to be nervous?

It was probably someone expendable then i.e. not an important photographer or a TV camera

Voeckler and Roy on the attack. HTC are going to have to be careful about how much of a lead they give them.

According to Norwegian TV2, Prudhomme used the #tdf race radio to fire the moto driver who hooked Sorensen's bike.

TV is back and there are STILL idiots leaning into the road and waving at the camera while looking in completely the wrong direction.
