First bike build, are there any little niggly things?

All ordered and on their way or already in my possession are the following

frame & fork & headset
wheels, tyres, tubes,
full groupset with cables
bars, stem, seatpost, saddle, tape
pedals

Just wondering if when the frame finally arrives will I be kicking myself because I forgo0t to order some tiny little thing that halts the build for another few days.

Do I need to get some barrel adjusters or similar?

Should I buy some carbon paste?

The bottom bracket is a BB30 thingy, do I need a special tool for this? the bearings are press fit so I guess this means you press them in?

Any help and tips much appreciated

    Cable rub patches
Bung/nut for steerer (unless compatible one supplied with headset)
Yes to carbon paste if carbon seatpost
    Grease/loctite for threads
Bottles and cages (okay, it won't stop the build but new ones are good)
Carlsberg don't make cycle clothing, but if they did it would probably still not be as good as Assos

You need a headset press to install BB30 bearings - best get your LBS to do it if you don't have the kit / know how.

Cable adjusters should be fitted to frame - worth checking

Check that the frame comes with under-BB cable guide - some don't

Cable-donuts to go on the exposed sections to minimise annoying rattle.

Electrical tape - fully wrap bars to hold cable to bars and makes it a lot easier to apply / reposition bar tape - you can play around with bar / lever position too before you apply the tape. Also use to secure the loose ends of the tape.
Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..

Is the steerer tube already cut (carbon?)? It may be very long and need cutting. Would recommend your LBS does this or do lots of research online and fully understand whats required and the consequence of getting it wrong.

and some not so necessary ones...
plumb bob for saddle to nose set up
spirit level and tape measure for saddle set up
    chainstay protector

Well thanks for all the answers peeps.

The build all went smoothly but guess what, there was a niggly little thing missing

Barrel adjusters for the downtube. I think some frames may come with these but mine didn't :(

Trip to the LBS in the morning
