Hi All.Would road Caliper brakes work on MTB wheels.John

    No. The tyres would be too fat. Not to mention that they probably wouldn't have sufficient reach.

    If you want to use them with MTB levers too, I think they would have different cable pull ratios.

    Depends on the frame and wheel clearances, but unlikely to work unless the frame was specifically designed to take a caliper brake. Many early MTBs used a U-brake which is caliper designed for BMX - good for collecting mud too.
    Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..
