Not sure what they are called, pedal leg protectors?

After every ride I seem to be cutting the back of my legs up on my MG1 pedals. The pins are pretty sharp.
Can anyone link to something that can protect my legs?

How are you cutting the back of your legs? Are you slipping off the pedals?0

I only ever notice after a ride. Probably when I twizzle the pedal before I push off. Or I'm not lifting my leg quick enough after I push off"it's like a gift, you know? It's like I can't control it"0

Those shin wraps look perfect. Pricey though."it's like a gift, you know? It's like I can't control it"0

I have AM40s and they stick like glue - however i still get the odd 'wrap-around' (I have the scars to prove it). I now wear Veggie Shins - well worth it.

Like I said before. Its not the footwear. Its me flipping the pedal before I kick off."it's like a gift, you know? It's like I can't control it"0 -
661 veggies they are they way forward.
That saying, the one time i forgot to put them on i end up cutting my calf through the skin into the muscle, that bloody hurts.
Expensive, yes, comfortable, yes, pedal pin proof, yes!
If you order, make sure you go a size up from what you'd have normally. I've got XL and I'm not a particularly big guy0 -

Im glad I'm no tthe only one thats suffered from chipped back legs and shins.
Currently bidding on some veggies on Ebay although they are a size small . I was originally just thinking about something similar to a tennis sweat band but bigger and designed for the leg..."it's like a gift, you know? It's like I can't control it"0 -

Am I just confused? Place foot on pedal, ride off. If you mean rotating the cranks backwards to get a pedal to the top, surely if you spin them too hard they will whack your shin?I don't do smileys.

Prevention is better than cure. Find out how you're doing it, and stop it.
I always end up with random cuts and grazes on my shins which are due to thorny bushes t the sides of trails etc - nothing I can do about that really.0 -
