Greetings Maggots,

Saturday! w00t!

Today comprises of doing a wheel change on the bouncer and then dropping the back wheel off at Swinnertons Cycles to get the broken spoke replaced
I may just change the front wheel too, the new/unused wheel set is DT Swiss 4.3 on WTB Superhubs.. nice...

Other than that not too much to do today, however I may be tempted to cover some mileage in the form of an afternoon ride.. we shall see...

Morning gayers. Starting the day with consumption of several varieties of pig based meat products, then a quick blast of the new trails at Ashton Court, then trace the fault in the lighting circuit that means all our lights at home tripped last night.

Then off to St Paul's carnival in Bristol this afternoon. And I've got VIP access through work to the Red Bull corporate hospitality area for free booze!

Quick drink at 4.30pm last night ended at 2am in a nightclub.
Fortunately not hungover, unfortunately no bacon in the house. And I've lost my voice. Family wedding today is going to be interesting!
At least there will be cake..

    Morning one and all
A couple of cans and a film last night turned into a 4am binge so hungover to death, still the sun is out and it'd be rude not to ride on a day like this. Now just need to shift this hangover without the aid of bacon :?
What if your dreams and fears existed in the same place? What if to get to heaven, you had to brave hell? What if everything you've ever wanted cost you everything you've ever achieved? Would you still go there?

Morning all. I sit here with my forks in bits and the Moto GP on the TV. Looks like I won't be riding for a while

Time to put the kettle on I think

    Morning all.

I spent last night fettling with the bike cleaning her up ready for a quick blast up the taff trail when i finish work at midday. Got into work to see taht they've put me down as an 8am - 6pm instead.
Not impressed as all i had to come in for was to set up a laptop and projector for some clients only to find out they are are a bunch of technophobes and are insisting i stay til the end 'just incase' and they're not even paying for the kit.

I just had ginger cake for breakfast!

    Morning crudscum

having a similar lack of bacon this morning so cake and icecream for breakfast. Am off out in a bit to field questions on a)when I'm getting married and b)having kids from friends I've not seen in a year. To disappoint them the answer is a) i'm not and b) when I'm 40 at the very earliest, as now humans are living longer I need more dicking about time for myself before passing on my madskills to a protege.

After that I dunno, maybe cinema, I've just booked my tickets to see Harry Potter next week, so I dunno.

Right have fun today everybody, and remember if you cant be good, be careful and if you can't be careful then leave me all your worldly possesions and cash

    Yo.

Have had bike in bits for hours trying to find out where the horrid creak is coming from. Turned out it was a half sheared mounting bolt on the mech hanger (as I discovered when I went to take the mech hanger off and the bolt sheared in half) New bolt, no creaks, yay.

Off for a bbq shortly, may try and get a ride in tomrrow but not looking hopeful.
1 more week of work until I'm off for a fortnight though. :)

    Peace.

    Epic fail afternoon
Took the FS bike back wheel in for a spoke replacement then embarked on fitting the DT Swiss / WTB hub back wheel

Indexing shot, so off to YouTube, watch the videos, adjust the Hi-Lo screws and cable adjustment as per video.. and failed
Indexing so farked it's off to the shop on Monday. F*ck it, every time I touch the indexing I kill it.
I can do almost every task on motorised and pedal powered two wheelers bar indexing.
    Meh!

Cool day, went to pub with some if my oldest and closest friends who I just don't get chance to see, all have got kids, except me. Turns out I'm pretty good with kids, and awesome on bouncy castle, but hey still don't want kids yet.

It's always good to have a good catch up though
