Something like this featured on 'Gadget Show' a while back. Jason called it the most stupid machine he has ever ridden.

Actually looks kind of fun - wouldn't like to meet a speedbump though!

Looks fun, imagine it'd be good for fitness but not overly practical. I'd not fancy trying to ride one in traffic - body moving back and forth, shifting centre of gravity, doesn't seem like it'd be at all manoeuvrable.

    Er..........

$1300 for the base model? What's the exchange rate right now? I'll wager your still looking at £1k.

Cheaper 'traditional' bike + gym subscription or rowing machine anyone?

Probably be a lot safer than that wobbly looking thing as well.

Hmmm. Make sure you dial '99' on your phone first, that way you're only one button away from the "I've done something incredibly stupid, and now I need a grown-up to help me!" conversation when you have your inevitable crash (about 10 seconds, I reckon).
Sometimes parts break. Sometimes you crash. Sometimes it’s your fault.

How the flip do you steer it?
I used to just ride my bike to work but now I find myself going out looking for bigger and bigger hills.

Can't imaging getting up much of a hill with it.

I dunno - asking for trouble if you ask me.

Every time you go out on the thing you'd end up rowing with someone.....

Wasn't the gear stick on the chopper bike stopped because it was dangerous?

This looks as if a sudden stop could have unfortunate consequences.

    Edit:

Imagine what would happen to: first the bottom part of the bike, and then the rider if they went over a speed hump or pothole...
