Long thread in commuting section about Equilibriums , smeones highlighting a place that is doing frame only for £189 - great price - no stock till August though, was very tempted but just picked up a nice 753 off Ebay0

Tell me about how you go about choosing a nice 753 off eBay... It completely baffles me. I.e, should I be concerned with the age of a frame?0

You know, ride quality. Whether it feels sluggish and heavy or light and responsive; whether it deserves all the praise it gets; whether you have a smile on your face when riding it; whether it's an utter steel (pun intended) at £279.

Light and responsive, yes to praise and to smiling
I compared it to a fratello and thought it was good value
I'm really pleased with it and I tried a bunch of bikes before I bought it ( roubaix, madone, cube agree, specialized secteur ) hope that helps0
