    It means it's a middle markers events, and only people with a Last Three Seasons time slower than 22 minutes will be able to get a ride.

    It's a middle markers ("MM") event.

    Open to anyone who hasn't gone faster than 22 mins in the Last Three Seasons ("LTS")

    Priority will go to those closest to the 22 mins working backwards

    Don't speak too soon, when I started TT'ing last year, my goal for this year was 23:59, I've just done a 22:47!!!

    MM = Medium markers.

    although I'm not sure what that means! I think usually medium marker means those who aren't the fastest but also not the slowest. So they'll give priority to entries to people who fall in the middle 90 previous times.

    I think you must have had no previous times quicker than 22 mins to do this event.

    Someone with better knowledge will be able to say 100% though.

    Not necessarily. Middlemarkers events generally take the fastest (120 or maximmum for the event) unless they state its for the slowest entrants. Mind you they don't always give the full details in the handbook.

    the long range weather forecast is for the windy unsettled weather we have enjoyed for the past gawd knows how long to continue well into July.
    Which is a depressing prospect for those of us chasing fast times which WE DESERVE for turning out in sh*t conditions here 'oop North time and time again. If you can average 25 mph on a 'sporting course' 10 then I guarantee you will get under 22 mins on a fast course.All you need is a reasonable day for it.
    Not even a great day, just a reasonable one...
    Surely that's not asking too much?
