On a fixed axle, with the end nuts should I use threadlock on the threads?
Say... That's a nice bike..

No need. But a chain tug is a worthwhile investment for keeping the chainline constant. If you needed threadlock what would you do in the event of a puncture?Norfolk, who nicked all the hills?

Sorry I read fixed and thought it was for a fixie. Even less need for thread lock then as loads are less with gears.Norfolk, who nicked all the hills?

I would still say no, if correctly done up an axle nut should never come undone and I've never had one do it in years of cycling.Norfolk, who nicked all the hills?

Make sure you use proper track nuts with the large, knurled washer built-in.0

yeah the washer bit swivels freely, so as you tighten the nut the washer doesn't rotate and just presses into the frame.
