Anyone done this? Was ok?

Bent a spoke and need to replace.

Done this many times on other wheels but a little apprehensive doing it on R-Sys.

Hi Dave many thanks for the offer.

In the end I bit the bullet and found it to be the simplest spoke replacement I have ever done!

Undo the nipple slide out from the hub and then remove from the rim. Same again to fit and truing was very easy.

Did you actually remove the nipple from the rim, or just the spoke from the nipple. I'm interested to know how the nipples locate in these type of Mavic rims.

I removed the nipple from the rim. The nipple comes attached as both ends are like a ball joint.

Cheers, that's the clearest shot I've seen of the nipple out of the rim. It all makes sense now.
