I'd like to upgrade the wheelset that came with my scott addict....

...they're Mavic Aksiums. Dead on wheels but I'd like to upgrade.

Anyone recommend decent wheelsets at around the £500 mark for general training and racing use?

Thanks

i have just received a set of Dura Ace WH7900 cl24. These are as a upgrade to ultegra / open pro wheels, for long club rides / sportives. they were approx. 430g lighter on my scales. bearings are incredible, told they get better after 100 miles.

after an quick spin last hight.
    1. accelerate meaningfully faster.
    2. brake alot better. have a real bite.
    3. just as stiff as the 32 spoke open pro's . great out of the saddle
    4. absorb about the same amount of road buzz.

running both sets on GP4000s with race light tubes.
    bought from Merlin.
