Stem buying advice.....

I'm looking to upgrade my factory fitted stem to my Giant Anthem X3.
I only ride trail centres, so want something a bit shorter than the 100mm Giant stem. 70mm would be ideal I think. I' m looking to get carbon bars in the future, so can I buy any stem or do I need to get a specific one to accommodate carbon.
At the moment, my preferred option is Superstar Components Zephir stem for £34. it's 70mm with 6 degree rise and 116grams. Any advice welcome. As ever, i'm looking to lose weight wherever possible too.

These. No 70mm, but 60mm and 80mm. So cherap, buy one of each!
