Cube Ltd Comp tips & advice on loosing some weight .....

As above pick up my new Cube LTD Comp on Monday and would like to try and lighten it by a couple of pounds as it tips the scales at 29.1lb... wheres the best place start thats not going to cost the earth ...

Take it back and get a new bike! It will cost a lot to get the weight down I am afraid, as has a balanced spec.
New forks like Rebas would help, and the easton stuff is a little heavy. But for that cost might as well have bought a better model to start.
Just ride and enjoy, and replace with lighter parts as they wear.0 -

whels! std wheelset on them iirc is in the 2.5kg area, a set of crossrides at 1900g will make a noticable difference!
prolly save a lbif you upgraded the drive train and finishing kit but not a cheap option!!!
if you spend the price the bike again, youd possibly get it to the 25/26lb mark! :shock:Timmo.
